CANDLELIGHT FLOW → Flow under the glow of candlelight! Candlelight Flow is a flowing hatha class accessible to practitioners with basic yoga experience. Release your week and fuel your inner flame.
CORE & FLOOR → Core & Floor is a mindfully paced class that focuses on deep core engagement and strengthening with acknowledgement of pelvic floor being the root of that strength. Expect challenging holds, additional floor work, and education around building a foundation of strength.
FLOW → Flow is rooted in the connection of breath and movement. Flow through a series of heat building movements as you cultivate the connection to prana. Demonstrations and verbal cues are provided. This class is best for practitioners with basic yoga asana knowledge but is open to everyone. The room will be heated to 90 degrees using our infrared heat panels.
FLOW TO SLOW → This class offers a wonderful mix of yin and yang, peace and power. We stimulate meridians to loosen energetic blockages and increase energy flow. The first half of class focuses on strength and movement (Vinyasa Flow or Yang) and the second half of class focuses on deep stretches in fascia (Yin). This is an excellent class for athletes or anyone looking to find deep release. Absolute beginner to advanced levels are welcome! This class is not heated.
HIPS & HAMMIES → Hips & Hammies Flow is slower flowing class that is intended for students who feel tight in the lower body or have a supplemental (or primary) form of activity outside of yoga. In this class, we target areas that routinely experience tightness during exercise to assist in supporting your peak performance. Come flow, s t r e t c h , and strengthen. This class is open to students with little to no experience with yoga. Come as you are and enjoy! This class is heated to 90 degrees using our infrared heat panels.
LUNAR FLOW → Subtle and mellow. This class is accessible to beginners and grounding for those with more experience. Slower flow, deeper poses, and sustained breath. This class is not heated.
MEDITATION → Meditation is the single most powerful stress relieving tool there is. This 30-minute group meditation will help you connect to your heart and cultivate inner peace by exploring various types of meditation. Held in the soothing atmosphere of Studio 2, each class will begin with a brief introduction that will guide you into the inner quiet of your meditation. Everyone is welcome to attend, no previous experience necessary. Dress comfortably.
MINDFUL FLOW → Classes are always intended to be MINDFUL, but let's slow down a bit and be intentional with every movement and breath. This class is accessible to new students and a centering class for those with more experience. Awaken the body with a juicy flow, stretch it out, and be mindful.
POWER FLOW → Power Flow provides added challenge to your Vinyasa practice! Expect a faster pace and more POWER as you flow. Some yoga experience is recommended but all are welcome! This class is heated to 90 degrees using our infrared heat panels.
REST & RESTORATIVE → Rest & Restorative Yoga puts the R&R into your day. Restorative Yoga is a restful practice that puts the muscles at ease as we gently work into the fascia. The majority of the practice will be experienced lying down. We encourage you to keep a blanket and a pillow or two nearby as the teacher guides you through the experience.
SCULPT → Sculpt adds light free weights into a flow practice. Feel your practice from a different perspective as you approach poses more actively and stabilize deeper through the core. We tone, strengthen, and SWEAT. This class is heated to 90 degrees using our infrared heat panels.
STRONG & STEADY → Strong & Steady keeps the power in the class while mindfully connecting your inner strength to each posture. Expect longer holds, physical challenge, and mental empowerment.
YIN → This class focuses on deep stretches of the fascia and connective tissue. Flexibility is NOT a prerequisite. Relaxed postures are held for approximately five minutes each and are key in relieving stress, building joint strength, and increasing flexibility, circulation, and the flow of energy. This is an excellent class for athletes or anyone looking to find deep release. This class is not heated.
BARRE → Barre classes use a combination of postures inspired by dance to tone, lengthen, and strengthen the entire body. Dedicated core work helps to awaken the body and build strength from the foundation. Expect a strong focus on leg work including calves, quads, and glutes as well as a focus on arms & shoulders with the aid of free weights. The majority of time is spent at the barre embracing those fabulous barre shakes!
BARRE SCULPT → Barre with a little extra upper body work. Barre Sculpt incorporates light free weights throughout class. Tone, Lengthen, and strengthen the whole body!
LITTLE YOGI & ME → Yoga for minis! Moms & Dads, bring your little ones and let's have some fun! Little Yogi & Me classes make for a fun family outing that incorporates fitness, movement, and education for everyone! Imitated but not duplicated, "Little Yogi & Me" is a Latitude 44 Yoga Studio original!
