200 Hour Course Track Overview

If you are planning to complete the whole certification program, you will need to complete all modules within the program.  Some modules have flexibility on when they can be taken (ONLINE courses) while others have a set schedule (IN-STUDIO) courses.

Online modules can be completed at your pace, on your schedule (unless noted), while in the comforts of your own home.  The in-studio modules are on a set schedule with other students joining at the same time.  Each of the modules are noted accordingly.

The Yoga Study program is on a rolling course availability.  Per current Yoga Alliance regulations, the online courses are currently approved through 2021.  You must complete your 200 hour Yoga Study program by December 31, 2021 on this current cycle of the online + in-studio offering.

200 Hour Course Track Modules

Energetics (Chakras) 

  • Summary: Explore the Chakras, Nadis, Bandhas, and Energy
  • ​ONLINE: 15 Hours, flexible schedule

Pranayama

  • Summary: Learn about, practice, and apply Breath Control & Breath Awareness

Meditation

  • Summary: Sense withdrawal and meditation practices offered in an educational and guided format
  • ONLINE: 12 Hours, flexible schedule

Asana / Postures

  • Summary: Posture Workshops, Alignment, Engagement, and Mechanics.  The subtleties that make a BIG difference on the mat.

Yoga Philosophy, & Ethics

  • Study the ancient philosophy of yoga with real-world modern application
  • IN-STUDIO: 30 hours, set schedule

Teaching Methodology & Professional Essentials 

  • Summary:  Learn the art of cueing, sequencing, pacing, and class management.  This course also covers the logistics behind the business of yoga, insurance needs, and yoga-related professional essentials.

Anatomy, Physiology, & Biomechanics

  • Summary: Familiarize with the mechanics of the physical body.  Learn about the bones, muscles, joints, and systems.
