Class Descriptions
Barre: Barre classes are designed to lengthen and strengthen. Classes begin with a yoga warm-up, include core strengthening, and a standing series. Have a yoga mat, light free-weights (optional) and also be near a countertop or chair for use during class.
Candlelight Flow: Flow under the glow of candlelight! Candlelight Flow is a flowing hatha class accessible to practitioners with basic yoga experience. Release your week and refuel your inner flame.
Hips & Hammies: Hips & Hammies Flow is focused towards the lower body (namely the hips and hamstrings). We carry stress in this area as well as demand a great deal from the lower body with either sitting or walking for the majority of our days. Come flow, s t r e t c h , and strengthen.
Lunar Flow: Subtle and mellow. This class is accessible to beginners and grounding for those with more experience. Slower flow, deeper poses, and sustained breath.
Mindful Flow: Classes are always intended to be MINDFUL, but let's slow down a bit and be intentional with every movement and breath. This class is accessible to new students and a centering class for those with more experience. Awaken the body with a juicy flow, stretch it out, and be mindful.
Movement & Meditation: Class begins with a beautiful awakening of the body and slowly transforms into a guided meditation to close the practice. The pace is slow + intentional, a gentle way to close the day and welcome a restful sleep.
Prenatal Yoga: Prenatal Yoga is designed to strengthen and support your changing body throughout your pregnancy as well as prepare the mind for the process ahead. Breath and movement are utilized to foster the mind-body connection. Come expecting to find your inner strength. Your innate wisdom is a powerful thing, experience your potential all while having fun and meeting other moms-to-be in the area!
Slow Flow: Slow and steady! This class focuses on long holds and focused breath work. Slow it down, steady your stance, and deepen the connection to your breath.
Vinyasa Flow: In this open-level vinyasa class, we focus on linking breath with movement. Demonstrations and verbal cues are provided as you connect with your innate strength and develop your yoga practice. This class is best for practitioners with basic yoga knowledge but is open to everyone.
WELL45: WELL45 classes are led by our sister studio, The Well. The Well is a high-intensity strength and cardio gym offering total body workouts that incorporate body weight and a variety of optional equipment. Take the class at your own pace and have some fun! Classes are as challenging as you make them. Everything is modifiable and offered in an empowering + positive space!
Yin Yoga: Yin Yoga focuses on reaching deep into tissues to release tension, find points of stress, and also queue healing. The majority of this practice is done on the floor using bolsters and blankets while holding poses for extended periods of time. You might only explore 5-7 postures throughout the entire class. We stimulate meridians to loosen energetic blockages and increase energy flow. Mindfulness and meditation techniques are also weaved into the practice. This is an excellent class for athletes or anyone looking to find deep release.
Yoga Sculpt: Yoga Sculpt adds light free weights into a Vinyasa-esque practice. Feel your practice from a different perspective as you approach poses more actively and stabilize deeper through the core. We tone, strengthen, and SWEAT.
